Gallery Cruise with Music and Stories to Die For
Plan to spend the evening in downtown Galleries and other venues will feature art created especially for A Vashon Conversation for the Living about Dying focused on life, love, loss, death and grief. The creativity, thought and heart invested in this wonderful offering is a gift to all. Spend time engaged with the artists and one another, exploring what the art evokes in you. Beloved Island bagpiper, John Dally, will play his evocative music as we cruise. Go to the Senior Center to hear Island musicians play songs requested by islanders that would make them laugh, cry and sing at the end of their lives. And head to the Sugar Shack for mythical story telling and harp music from diverse traditions.
