Nature Crafting Skills Series for Women
Vashon Wilderness Program’s experienced women mentors will share ancient earth-based skills and practices to awaken and empower your connection with yourself, the Earth, and each other. Nature Crafting Skills Series Working with your own hands invites you to be still, within the present moment – for complete concentration to the work at hand. Holding your creation brings a connection to the Earth and the many traditional cultures who honored the plants, fibers, and animals of the land they lived with. Each class will cover the basics of traditional crafting to create a small ‘keepsake’ item of function and beauty. Participants will also take home the tools used in class for continued crafting beyond our time together.
