Small businesses are the backbone of Vashon's economy. The Minority & Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M&WBE) Program was created to recognize exceptional entrepreneurship among small business owners on Vashon Island. Eligible businesses must be Chamber Members to be nominated. The M&WBE Spotlight is celebrated monthly or until the next nomination comes in, whichever is longer.
