Although I had practiced yoga for 17 years in 2013, it wasn’t until I resigned from a job that was holding me back on many levels and began teaching yoga that I realized the full potency of my practice. The ensuing space allowed me the time and focus to align with my own power and essence in a way that I never had before, and to help other women to do the same. My husband, Michael, and I made a leap of faith and moved from East Hampton, NY to Vashon Island, WA, a beautiful, natural oasis in the Pacific Northwest, where we are building our simple, modern, dream home and studio.
Now it is my honor to guide other women in connecting with the vision of their most exceptional life. Opening our inner space can facilitate each of us in connecting more fully with what allows us to live the life we are meant to live. I've often been struck by how the concept of 'letting go of what no longer serves' applies to both our inner (mind/body) and personal (home) space. I have been teaching yoga since 2013. I also had a home organizing business for three years, so as I guide you in creating a more conscious relationship with your true self through yoga and meditation, I can also offer insights into how the space you live in can better nurture and support you, grounding you in a feeling of what 'home' means for you. One way I particular enjoy helping others is by partnering with professional home organizers and interior designers to assist in achieving that sense of spaciousness. A home that feels like a serene oasis supports space for growth on all levels.
- Improve focus and have a greater sense of presence and awareness
- Align with yourself at a deep level; feel more like 'you'
- Alleviate overwhelm; feel a greater sense of well-being and happiness
- Create spaciousness in mind/body and your home
- Align your inner and outer worlds
Primarily, I work with clients doing private sessions in their home. In 2017 I will have a studio at my home for both privates and small group yoga sessions.
