
Vashon Household "Raise the Roof" Summer Concert and Fundraiser
Let's "Raise the Roof" together in support of affordable housing on Vashon Island! Join Vashon HouseHold at Dig Deep Nursery on Saturday August 24th at 5:30pm for live music, dancing, food, drinks, community - all to raise much needed funding to combat housing insecurity on our island. This is a 21+ event.
Saint Ophelia will be playing live at the event. The Vashon-based, Saint Ophelia is a five-piece ensemble fronted by vocalist/guitarist Rebekah Kuzma, singer songwriter Joe Panzetta, and pedal steel magician Dan Tyack. With a killer rhythm section of Wesley Peterson on drums and Chuck Keller on bass, their original songs move from folk rock to country to jazz. They have released two albums: “Saint Ophelia” 2018, and “Love Deserves the Crown” 2022.
Emceeing the event is Martha Enson from EnJoy Productions. Co-founding EnJoy Productions in 2003, Martha has designed and produced entertainment and original theatrical productions for over 300 corporate, non-profit and civic events throughout the US and abroad. She has also as produced city-wide storytelling programs in Tacoma, as well as Pierce County First Night, the largest New Year’s Eve festival on the West Coast.
