About Us
VashonBePrepared is a coalition of community organizations that prepare for and respond to adverse incidents on Vashon-Maury. VashonBePrepared promotes resilience among households, neighborhoods, businesses and other organizations. VashonBePrepared support Vashon Island Fire & Rescue (VIFR) in disaster response. VashonBePrepared and its partner preparedness organizations recruit and train volunteers, develop, maintain and practice disaster plans and procedures, and raise and manage funds to support these efforts.
