About Us
VashonBePrepared is a coalition of community organizations that prepare for and respond to adverse incidents on Vashon-Maury. VashonBePrepared promotes resilience among households, neighborhoods, businesses and other organizations. VashonBePrepared teams support Vashon Island Fire & Rescue (VIFR) in disaster response. VashonBePrepared and its partner preparedness organizations recruit and train volunteers; develop, maintain and practice disaster plans and procedures; and raise and manage funds to support these efforts.
